It all begins with an idea. I was awoken during the night with the idea for Peppy’s Adventures flooding my brain. All night long I was up and planning what the next step was going to be. Here’s how it goes down…

Peppy, Joel and I have been together since May 1, 2022. We’ve been on top of the world and at the bottom of the valley. Right now, God is planting flowers in the valley and while He is holding the watering can, I must do my part too. I’ve been driving Lyft exclusively since August of 2024. It puts a lot of wear and tear on your vehicle and as much as I love Gulfport, Mississippi and call it my home for now, I want to explore the open road and Joel does too. We’re taking Peppy along whether she likes it or not. Peppy’s Adventures is a book I’ve had planned for years, I just didn’t know how it would manifest itself. Lo and behold, it’s going to be a coloring book. Here’s how it works.

Peppy’s Adventures In The Van (Vol. 1) is all about how we planned the perfect road trip and how we’re going to stick with the plan or veer off the beaten path. All of the plan, from the book to the blog, to the YouTube Channel is going to be written through Peppy’s eyes. We’re going to get a backpack from which Peppy can see out and she’s going everywhere that anyone will allow us to take her. The blog and the YouTube channel will be updated at least once a week to show how we ended up where we end up. All of this plan should be put into motion on March 1, 2026. Let’s hope we can sell enough books between now and then.

So, the book is going to be $14.99 if you order it from Amazon or if you buy it from me directly at a craft show, a farmer’s market booth or out of the back of my car, it will be $20. So that’s the next step. The book will be released via Amazon on June 1, 2025. I’m going to be setting up a table at various festivals and the like around Harrison County Mississippi and selling the first book. I say first, because while this shows our proposed travels for 18 weeks and across the United States a couple of times, the next book will also be a pre-planned guide but maybe next time across Canada to Alaska or maybe the Northeast of the U.S.A. Who knows where our adventures will take us because likely you’re going to be voting for the options.
